During our yoga classes we lead practitioners through a series of yoga practices with preparatory exercises, variations of final poses and props when needed, breathing techniques to help relax and counter poses when necessary.
We practice physical exercises with a conscious understanding of the relationship between our movement and breath. Learning to regulate our breathing and quality of yoga practice is more important than the number of asana’s practiced.
The objective of yoga practice is to not deplete energy but to recharge and refresh the practitioner.
During the workshop we will practice physical exercises with a conscious understanding of the relationship between our movement and breath. We will also practice dynamic meditation techniques and reflect on daily processes that fuel our energy. Examining and refining our daily practices and how we manage our energy is a crucial step towards personal wellness and how we care for others and our environment.
